Biography:
Hazem A. Abdelghany, born in 1990 in Egypt, started his career in 2012 when he received his BSc. in Electrical and Control Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Egypt. As part of an academic excellence scholarship, he was appointed as a graduate teaching assistant in the AASTMT, faculty of engineering, until he completed his MSc. studies on Multi-objective optimization of isolated microgrids, in May 2015.
From May 2015 to September 2016, Hazem worked as a lecturer assistant in the AASTMT. In October 2016, Hazem joined the Faculty Electrical Engineering Mathematics and Computer Science at TU Delft for a PhD project as part of the INCITE project.
His main research interests include control and integration of DERs in smart grids and Multi Agent Systems.
