Biography:
Adedotun J. Agbemuko was born in Nigeria in 1989. He obtained a bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2012. He proceeded to Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 2014 where he obtained an MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Power systems and graduated in 2016. His MSc. thesis focused on a Computational Intelligence Approach to Voltage and Power Control in High Voltage Multi-terminal DC (HV-MTDC) Grids. Prior to graduation from TU Delft he conducted a brief research for Philips Lighting Global R&D, Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on Lightning and Surge Propagation and their attendant effects on outdoor Lighting Networks. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD at Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) in collaboration with Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain, as part of the INCITE network. His interest includes the design, operation, and control of (smart) electrical power grids, renewable energies, computational intelligence, and smart energy systems.
